Station 1: Plot and Organization
1. Read through your entire story. Check for the following:
a. Typical elements of superhero story- heroes and villains in difficult situations
b. Conflict is based on a problem
c. Plot is clear and easy to follow
d. Has some sort of beginning, middle, and end.

Station 2: Character Development
2. Focus on the parts of your story that introduce your hero and give information about him/her. Check for:
a. Characters are original
b. Readers get a sense of the hero's personality traits
c. Readers see inside hero's mind with thoughtshots
d. Details and description help readers to imagine the hero's physical appearance
i. Dialogue shows how the hero speaks and interacts with others

Station 3: Expanding the moment
3. Read each scene and check for the following:
a. Each scene takes place over a short period of time (less than 2 days)
b. Scene show, don't tell
c. Dialogue is used to show all conversations between characters
d. Thoughtshots or inner dialogue show what readers are thinking
e. Snapshots offer descriptive details that help the reader to imagine the scene
f. Specific, sensory details help the reader to imagine and to follow the plot

Homonym check: your and you’re.
Homonym check: to, too, and two.
e. Dialogue is formatted correctly
- punctuation is inside quotes
- indent and start a new paragraph each time a different character speaks
