Steps to a Writer's Notebook Response:
1. Put the proper heading on a new page:
Anita Bath
September 5, 2012
Period 2
Ms. Feldman
2. Choose a prompt.
Possible sources: website, prompt bin, Ms. Feldman, your own ideas (check with me first!).
3. Respond to the prompt. Aim to write around 1 page, but more is, of course, encouraged. Typed entries should be size 12, double spaced.
4. When you finish, read your work over. Share it with a friend who has time to read it.
5. Place your finished piece in the tray for your class or hand it in electronically.
