This cartoon is showing that texting is affecting the way teenagers are writing. I disagree with this cartoon because humans don't get texting/cell phones until they are older and by they are that age they already know how to write correctly.

i think that this cartoon is saying that people that text a lot aren't as good at writing. They don't write things right while they are texting and then they don't spell words correctly when they are in writing class

I think the message of this cartoon is telling children that if they do not know how to write people cant understand them and writing skills are needed in life. I agree with this message because it is true that you do need writing skills for people to understand what you are trying to say.

I think the message of this cartoon is that texting can make your writing bad. I think this because it says, "They say I lack Writing Skills." I don't agree because even though you are texting, it doesn't mean that you are a bad writer.

I think the message of this cartoon is that since kids are texting a lot, it's affecting the way they write in school. For example, they may be writing an essay and instead of writing you, they might write u. I know this because the bubble above the kid says what he's typing in text language, and then next to the star below it says it in proper english. I agree with the message because even though most people text in texting language, it does take away from their english knowledge.

This cartoon is trying to say that texting is making our world become everything but being lazy and it's showing how bad spelling in texting is affecting the actual writing pieces in school. I disagree because texting is a fast and easy way to communicate and you just have to be careful while texting and don't be addicted. That's all!

I also think that it means that texting is ruining the way children and teens write. It is ruining how people use the English language. I do not agree because it is a quick way to communicate and only some people lack writing skills. some people have amazing writing skills and still text.

The message of this cartoon is that texting in text language can ruin your normal writing. If you always text you get use to writing in shortened form and it could also show that you are lazy. I do agree with this message because it is true and I sometimes slip and write u instead of you and other little things like that.

I think this means that people get so used to using texting language, that they begin to use the texting "LINGO" in real life conversations and situations.

In this picture it shows a boy who tells us that he lacks writing skills. Clearly he does because he misspells every word. Maybe he should practice writing like they said instead of texting.

I think the cartoon is saying that we text so much that it is affecting our writing and english. People use the texting language in our writing, (ex. u, r, l8tr, etc).

I think the message of this cartoon is that texting effects the way we write. I know this because of the incorrect spelling and grammar in the kid's speech bubble. However, I disagree with this because students should know when to turn on and off of "text mode". Plus students learn to spell and learn other english before they get cell phones.

I believe that this cartoon is trying to show that due to texting, many kids are not spelling or typing their words correctly. However, they don't even know this problem, so the problem can not be corrected. I agree with the message because I know some kids who only write in "texting language". Obviously, its a big of a problem.
