Here are some ways to expand the moment that we brainstormed in class:
-Use sensory details to describe
-Create a snapshot (a picture in the reader's mind with words)
- Use dialogue to show a conversation
- Break down the moment into smaller pieces, then describe
- Write a thoughtshot (a picture of what the narrator is thinking), using inner dialogue, flashbacks, or flashforwards.
